As well as the Book of Kells, Trinity College in Dublin has possibly the world's greatest collection of illuminated Celtic manuscripts. Which is just, given The Emerald Isle's huge influence on the growth of post-Roman Christianity and thus Anglo-Celtic works through the likes of Saints Columba, Aidan, St Piran and Ia.
