Oxford
Oxford is known justifiably around the world for its academic history and expertise. It stands therefore that it is an excellent source of medieval manuscripts, in particular The Bodleian Library, which holds amongst others, The MacRegol Gopsels, The Annals of Ulster, The Annals of Inisfallen, The Caedmon Manuscripts and The Winchester Bible. And should one tire of the academic delights, then the town of Oxford, with its links from Tolkien to Harry Potter is well worth a visit. For more, read here.
