BACKGROUND
This beautiful artwork combines the immensely reassuring words of Isaiah 41:10 with Anglo-Celtic knotwork from Coldingham, site of the Anglo-Saxon monastery established by Princess Aebbe in c.640AD. Aebbe, sister to King Oswald of Northumbria and friend to Aidan and Cuthbert of Lindisfarne, was an abbess and influential politician at the time and instrumental in the spread of Christianity in the North-East of Enlgand and Scotland. The artwork would make a beautiful gift to a friend or yourself for any occasion, be it a birthday, Christmas, Leaving Home, A Graduation Gift, the passing of someone dear, or simply to express love to a friend.
